China General Technology (Group) Holding Co. (Genertec) is considering acquiring Kellenberger, a Swiss maker of high-precision grinding, milling and turning machines, from US private equity owner Centre Lane Partners for about $400 million. The consideration is ongoing and may not lead to a transaction.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation acquired all shares of Swiss rotating equipment service provider AST Turbo AG, making it a wholly owned subsidiary of the MHI Group, as of February 27, 2026.

Emerson announced a definitive agreement to acquire Afag Holding AG, a Swiss maker of electric linear motion, feeding and handling automation solutions, to strengthen its factory automation business. The deal expands Emerson's served market by more than $9 billion.

Sauer Compressors Holding has acquired a 100% shareholding in HAUG Kompressoren AG of St. Gallen, Switzerland, which has been renamed HAUG Sauer Kompressoren AG. The deal adds oil-free and gas-tight piston compressors to Sauer's range.
