SPX Technologies completed the acquisition of Neptronic Inc. for a total cash consideration of CA$605 million.

NEXCAP Partners, a Quebec investment banking group, has acquired a majority share in Gecko Alliance Group, a pool and spa control systems and pumps manufacturer. Cofounders remain shareholders.

A group of investors led by NEXCAP Partners, including Desjardins Capital, Fonds de Solidarité FTQ and Fondaction, has acquired a controlling interest in Quebec-based spa equipment maker Gecko Alliance Group. Co-founders remain shareholders and Georges Marchildon was named CEO.

The Master Group has acquired Alberta-based Soper's Supply Ltd, a distributor of electric motors, fans, blowers and pumps to the Western Canada market. The deal adds branches in Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Surrey and Vancouver.

Wolseley Canada acquired Calgary-based James Electric Motor Services, a market leader in pump and motor sales and repair in Western Canada, with all 64 employees joining Wolseley. The deal was announced in September 2018.

Dana Incorporated becomes majority shareholder of TM4, Hydro-Québec's electric motor and inverter subsidiary, for CA$165 million, with Hydro-Québec keeping 45%. TM4's Boucherville, Québec facility and 130 employees remain in place.
