Aptar Closures celebrated the grand opening of Gulf Closures, a beverage closures maker in Bahrain it acquired a majority stake in during March 2023. An expansion of the site, with 10 new production lines, is expected to be completed in December 2024.

Bahrain's Labour Fund Tamkeen is supporting the expansion of United Paper Industries (Bahrain Pack), a packaging maker, which will add 7,000 tons of production capacity and raise exports over three years.
