Dunapack Packaging completed installation of a 1,000 kW photovoltaic system with 2,350 panels on the production hall roof of its corrugated plant in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, at an investment of about EUR 700,000.

Ideal Standard – Vidima officially opened its modernized sanitary fittings plant in Sevlievo, Bulgaria, the result of a three-year investment program of over BGN 62 million.

Portuguese glass packaging maker BA Glass plans to invest about EUR 205 million over five years in its Bulgarian plants, building two new furnaces to double production capacity at its Sofia and Plovdiv facilities. Most of the spending is due in 2020 and 2021.
