VPK Packaging Group completed an upgrade of paper machine 6 at its Oudegem, Belgium mill, including new stock preparation, a faster drying section and a new winder, with a target capacity of 200,000 tonnes a year.

VPK has started up a new Bobst 924 flexo folder gluer at its Oudegem plant in Belgium, adding about 5 million square metres of corrugated packaging capacity. The total project, including a double-deck WIP and a second pallet inserter, is worth about 7 million euros.
