Brooks Equipment, a division of Brooks Group Australia, has introduced XCMG XDA45 articulated dump trucks to the Australian market, powered by Mercedes-Benz OM471 engines and Allison 4800 ORS transmissions. The company has brought 16 trucks into the country for sale and several for dry hire.

Epiroc won its largest order in company history, worth A$350 million, to supply Fortescue with autonomous and electric surface drilling equipment over five years for Pilbara iron ore mines in Western Australia.

WestStar Industrial's subsidiary Alltype Engineering was awarded a circa A$33 million fabrication and installation contract by Lynas Rare Earths for its Kalgoorlie rare earths processing facility, to be completed during FY23.

BUMA Australia has been awarded a mining services contract extension by BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) for the Goonyella Riverside coal mine in Central Queensland. The extension adds about AU$400 million to its order book and runs through September 2027.

Weir Group has won a £95 million ($127 million) order to provide aftermarket components and service for the Iron Bridge magnetite project in the Pilbara, Western Australia, running for seven years from 2022.
