Tyson Foods opens manufacturing automation center in Springdale

Tyson Foods unveiled its new Tyson Manufacturing Automation Center (TMAC) in downtown Springdale, Arkansas. The 26,000-square-foot facility houses labs for machine vision and food production simulation, as well as training classrooms. It employs about 15 engineers with plans to grow to 30.
