Nojima acquires Hitachi's household appliance business for $691.2M

Nojima Corp. has acquired Hitachi Ltd.'s household appliance business for an estimated $691.2 million. Nojima will purchase an 80.1% stake in a new company created from Hitachi Global Life Solutions Inc., with Hitachi retaining a 19.9% stake.
