Endata vs. Peec AI
Endata vs. Peec AI
Both show you whether AI assistants name your business when buyers ask. Peec AI goes deep on the analytics and hands a marketing team a list of actions; Endata keeps the test small and does the writing and publishing.
Endata vs. Peec AI at a glance
Choose Endata if
- You know you're missing from AI answers and want the fix, not another dashboard.
- Nobody on the team has spare hours to research and write an answer every week.
- You want somewhere to publish as well: a hosted newsroom on your own domain, built to be read by AI.
- You'd like to see your own results with no account or card: the first report is free.
Choose Peec AI if
- You have writers and need daily data to direct them.
- You want to know which sources assistants cite, and where competitors appear and you don't.
- You need Google AI Overviews, AI Mode or Copilot covered, or several countries.
- You're an agency that sells AI visibility reporting to clients.

What is the real difference between Endata and Peec AI?
Peec AI describes itself as “AI search analytics for marketing teams”, and that is accurate. It answers “how visible are we in AI search, against whom, and why?” with four core metrics (visibility, position, sentiment and sources) tracked every day, and it is good at the “why”: it shows the websites assistants read and cite when they name your competitors.
Endata answers a narrower question and then does the work: “which buyer questions leave us out, and what should we publish about each one?” Each missed question becomes a topic Endata researches, a draft with its sources cited, a page on your newsroom once you approve it, and a monthly recheck against the same questions.
How does each one measure AI visibility?
Endata
Endata reads your website, asks you to confirm your audience, two to six competitors and three to five topics, and writes six questions a buyer would plausibly ask. No question names a business. It puts each one to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini through their makers' APIs, with web search on, and records who was named.

How to read this. AI answers change from one run to the next, so these figures are a sample of what your customers may see, not a ranking.
That is a deliberately small test. It will not tell you your position or how assistants feel about you. It will tell you, in a couple of minutes and for free, which specific questions your competitors are winning.
Peec AI
Peec AI works at a larger scale and in more detail. Its plans track 50 to 350 prompts daily, and its documentation says first results arrive within 24 hours. Beyond visibility it reports your position among the brands named, sentiment, share of voice, and sources: which domains and URLs the assistants retrieved and cited, classified by type, with a gap analysis of the ones that name competitors but not you.
It also collects answers differently. Peec AI's documentation says it reads the assistants' own interfaces with browser automation, not their APIs, because API responses can differ from what a user sees. Endata uses the official APIs. Peec AI's method is closer to the real experience; that is a fair point in its favor.
What happens after you find a gap?
Peec AI does not stop at charts. Its Actions are a prioritized list of improvements, grouped into site audit, owned and earned work, each with the evidence behind it, a checklist and, for content, a suggested structure. Where its Content optimization feature is enabled for an account, an action on one of your pages opens as an editable draft with suggested rewrites, which you can copy, download or publish to WordPress.
That is real help, and it is help for the person doing the work. Someone still researches the topic, writes the piece, gets it into the CMS and marks the action done. Endata treats the gap as its own assignment:
- The plan. Up to five steps, drawn from the questions where assistants named a competitor and not you.
- The research. For each question, a search of the last 30 days of news and web sources, keeping up to eight pieces of evidence.
- The draft. A new answer that cites its evidence claim by claim, with room for your own attributed expert view.
- Your approval. Nothing goes live until someone on your side approves it.
- The page. Published on your newsroom, readable by people and served to AI crawlers as Markdown, in llms.txt and over a public MCP server.
- The recheck. The same six questions, a month later.

How do Endata and Peec AI pricing compare?
| Endata | Peec AI | |
|---|---|---|
Peec AI lists an extra model as an add-on ($35, $85 or $165 a month by plan), about 15% off for annual billing, and a custom Enterprise plan with API access and SSO. Endata has no annual billing and no free trial; the free report is the trial. Check Peec AI's site for current prices.
The prices are not like for like. Peec AI's buys data and direction; the writing is still yours to staff. Endata's includes the researched drafts, the newsroom they are published on and the posting. Compare Endata's price with Peec AI's plus the hours it would take someone to research and write those answers. Endata's current plans are on the pricing page.
Can you use Endata and Peec AI together?
Yes, and they fit together well because they overlap so little. Use Peec AI to watch the wide picture: many prompts, daily, with position, sentiment and sources. Use Endata to turn the gaps it shows into published, sourced answers and keep them current as the news changes. Peec AI's daily numbers will then tell you, more finely than Endata's monthly recheck can, whether those answers are being picked up.
For a business without a marketing team, the order usually runs the other way. Start with the free Endata report, publish answers to the questions it finds, and add daily tracking once there is enough content for it to be worth reading.
What Endata does not do
A comparison is only useful if it is honest about both sides. Endata does not:
- track prompts daily, or track hundreds of them;
- measure position, sentiment, share of voice or prompt volume;
- show which sources an assistant read or cited;
- cover Google AI Overviews or AI Mode, Copilot, Grok or Meta AI;
- audit your existing website's technical setup, or check which AI bots can crawl it;
- promise that an assistant will recommend you. What an assistant says is its own decision; Endata makes sure there is a clear, sourced answer for it to find.
Frequently asked questions
Is Endata a Peec AI alternative?
For analytics alone, no: Peec AI tracks more prompts, every day, with position, sentiment and source analysis Endata does not attempt. Endata is an alternative if what you want is the result, published answers to the questions AI assistants leave you out of, without hiring writers to act on a dashboard.
How much does Peec AI cost?
Peec AI lists Starter at $95 a month (50 prompts), Pro at $245 (150 prompts) and Advanced at $495 (350 prompts), each with three models of your choice, daily tracking and unlimited users, plus a custom Enterprise plan. Agency plans run on credits from $245 a month. Check Peec AI's site for current prices.
Does Peec AI write or publish content?
Mostly it advises. Its Actions give ranked recommendations with evidence, a checklist and a suggested content structure. Its documentation also describes a Content optimization feature, available where enabled for an account, that suggests rewrites to a page and can publish to WordPress. In Endata, researching, drafting, publishing and sharing a new answer are the product itself.
Which AI assistants does each one cover?
Endata tests ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini through their official APIs with web search on. Peec AI's standard plans let you choose three of ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity and Gemini, read from the assistants' own interfaces; further models, Claude among them, are paid add-ons or part of Enterprise.
Which is better for a small business?
Usually Endata. A small business rarely has someone to turn daily analytics into content every week. Endata's free report shows the gaps and its plans, from $49 a month, research, draft and publish the answers for your approval.
Which is better for an in-house SEO or content team?
Usually Peec AI. Daily tracking, position, sentiment and above all source analysis give writers and PR people precise direction, with unlimited users on every plan. Some teams add Endata to produce and maintain the answer pages themselves.
Is Endata's free report really free?
Yes. You enter your website, confirm your competitors and topics, and give an email address to receive the link. There is no account, password or card. The first two steps of the action plan are shown in full; the rest open when you claim the report into a workspace.
Can an agency use either for clients?
Both can, for different services. Peec AI's agency plans are built for tracking and reporting: credits shared across client projects, free 7-day pitch projects and client dashboards in Looker Studio. Endata's Agency plan delivers the content: each client gets its own workspace and newsroom inside an app carrying the agency's name and logo; see Endata for agencies.
