The European Commission approved the combination of EPL and Indovida India, a $2 billion packaging deal in which Indorama Ventures will hold a 51.8 per cent stake in the combined business. The commission found no competition concerns under its simplified review.

Morocco's Competition Council approved Amcor Plc's $8.4 billion acquisition of Berry Global Group at its session on 5 February 2025. The deal still awaits approval in the United States, Canada, China and Turkey.
