Werner Pumps has installed and commissioned new Haas CNC machine tools at its Springs headquarters in South Africa, a R3 million investment that cut production time on some components by 50% or more.

Through an IDC-funded initiative, valve makers Ainsworth Engineering and United Valve Company will be upgraded to Level 1 B-BBEE status under new ownership, with new machines to be bought over 12 months.
