ANDRITZ received an order from Mpact Operations to upgrade the NSSC pulping line at its Mkhondo Paper Mill in Mpumalanga, South Africa. The upgrade will raise line capacity from 225 to 365 bdmt/d, with start-up scheduled for the first half of 2025.

Howden was awarded a contract to supply four high-speed integrally geared blowers and a control system for the new Athlone Wastewater Treatment Works in Cape Town, South Africa. Installation of its aeration technology is scheduled for 2024.
