Keihin IPT Mfg, LLC completed its acquisition of Keihin Aircon North America, Inc. from Keihin Corporation and others in April 2017, after agreeing the deal on February 21, 2017.

Autoneum North America is building a 315,000-square-foot expansion in Aiken with $35.5 million of investment and 41 new jobs, with completion slated for mid to late 2017.

Fuyao Automotive North America, a subsidiary of China's Fuyao Group, will open a new automotive glass manufacturing facility in Plymouth, Michigan, investing $66.3 million and creating 533 jobs. The project received Michigan Strategic Fund support and a $1 million state grant.

Saf-Holland Inc. received Ohio tax credit approval and expects to create 30 full-time positions in West Chester Twp., Ohio, with over $2 million in new annual payroll.

European automotive supplier Truck & Wheel Group announced it will open a $35.2 million plant in Vance, Alabama, creating about 74 jobs.

Brose Tuscaloosa will launch a $26.5 million expansion of its Vance plant next year, adding about 50 jobs. Tuscaloosa County approved tax abatements and incentives totaling $1.3 million, with construction expected to start by June and finish at year's end.
