Turkish converter Yilpar A.Ş. installed two BOBST gravure printing presses, a 9-color RS 6003 commissioned earlier in 2023 and a 9-color RS 5003 completed in summer 2023, at its Kemalpaşa production facility in Izmir province to expand flexible packaging operations.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), together with Esas Holding and Actera, has acquired a majority stake in Korozo Ambalaj, a Turkish flexible packaging producer. The deal includes a USD 1 million Clean Technology Fund loan to reduce waste. It was reported on 10 May 2017.
