SCG Packaging (SCGP) is investing Baht 510 million in a new production line and automated warehouse at Visy Packaging (Thailand), adding about 347 million pieces a year of capacity. The line has started commercial operation and the warehouse is due for completion at the end of 2021.

PRECISION has completed the expansion of its production facility in Thailand, adding 2,350 square meters to increase production of valve and injection-molded parts and provide additional warehouse space.

Corbion will expand its existing lactide plant in Rayong, Thailand by 25,000 tons per annum, with start-up targeted for the second half of 2018 alongside the new PLA plant.
