Metso is installing a mega-size compress press at its Trelleborg factory in Sweden to increase consumables wear parts capacity, with production starting in May 2020; the first of three similar presses has a series value of EUR 10 million.

Atlas Copco intends to split into two listed companies, one focused on industrial customers and the other on mining and civil engineering customers, with the mining group to be spun off to shareholders.
