A.P. Moller Holding's subsidiary Circle Bidco ApS announced a recommended public cash offer of SEK 230 per share to acquire Concentric AB, a Nasdaq Stockholm-listed maker of pump, fan and fluid power solutions for commercial vehicles.

Concentric AB received a development contract from an unnamed global truck and bus OEM to supply electric coolant pumps for a fuel cell electric vehicle bus application.

Concentric AB has been awarded a contract to supply electrically driven coolant pumps to a global truck and bus OEM for mid-size electric trucks. Production starts in 2021 and runs until 2025, with total sales estimated at SEK 150 million.

Scania is building a new foundry at its Södertälje plant in Sweden to produce engine blocks, investing about SEK 1.6 billion. The foundry is due in 2020 and will triple capacity to 90,000 tonnes of molten iron per year.
