Miba Steeltec broke ground on a new building in Vrable, Slovakia, enlarging manufacturing space to about 16,500 square meters with 80 new jobs and the Miba Friction Group's first R&D department outside Austria.

MinebeaMitsumi is building its largest European production plant near the international airport in Kosice, Slovakia, with production planned to start in 2018. The plant will make brushless DC motors, motor systems, sensors, LED products and fans.
