Smardt Chillers opened a new and expanded facility on Alexandra Road in Technopark Singapore on 29 June 2018. The site adds a workshop, spare parts warehouse and training facility for oil-free chiller technology built on Danfoss Turbocor compressors.

Pratt & Whitney inaugurated GP7200 engine overhaul capability at its Pratt & Whitney Eagle Services Asia engine center in Singapore, a joint venture with SIAEC, on February 5, 2018. The facility is investing nearly US$85 million and expects GTF engine servicing to begin in 2019.

Agilent Technologies will invest S$85 million (about €53 million) to add 30,000 sq ft at its Yishun facility in Singapore, doubling production capacity and creating about 100 jobs over five years.
