Baker Hughes broke ground on its first chemicals manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia at the PlasChem Park in Jubail and agreed to supply feedstock chemicals from Sadara Chemical Company. The announcement was dated November 26, 2019.

ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions will provide the dual-pressure ammonia process license and engineering, supply and monitoring services for Ma'aden's new Phosphate 3 ammonia plant near Ras Al Khair, as a subcontractor to Daelim. The plant with 3,300 tons per day capacity is scheduled for completion in early 2022.
