Schutz agreed with National Plastic Factory Company (NPF) that NPF will produce Ecobulk 1,000-litre IBCs for Saudi Arabia and the GCC, with a new factory planned near Dammam. Schutz will supply steel and plastic components, with first deliveries scheduled for 2026.

SCHÜTZ signed a licence agreement with National Plastic Factory Company (NPF) under which NPF will build a factory near Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to produce ECOBULK 1,000-litre intermediate bulk containers for Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Production is scheduled to start in 2026.

Saudi Pallet Manufacturing Company signed a 90 million US dollar memorandum of understanding with SABIC to manufacture Paxxal plastic pallets for export and develop local supply chain initiatives. The agreement was signed on 28 January 2019 in Riyadh during the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program launch.
