Mayr-Melnhof is advancing its packaging production expansion at a Romanian plant, which is on schedule. Commercial production is set to start in October 2026, and the project is part of its Food & Premium Packaging division.

DS Smith will invest an additional €3.6 million in 2026 at its Ghimbav, Romania plant for infrastructure modernisation and corrugated board production equipment upgrades, building on a €13 million investment launched in 2023.
