Baker Hughes received a major award from QatarEnergy LNG to supply refrigerant compressor trains and power generation packages for two LNG mega trains at North Field West in Qatar, announced with its Q1 2026 results.

Air Products was selected to supply its AP-X liquefaction technology and equipment to Qatargas for the first phase of the North Field East LNG expansion in Ras Laffan, Qatar, with four trains of 7.8 million tonnes per year each.
