CANPACK is investing over PLN 440 million to expand its aluminum beverage can plant in Bydgoszcz, Poland, adding about one billion cans per year of capacity and over 100 new jobs.

DS Smith announced over €25 million of investment in its Polish sites, mainly expanding the Kielce packaging facility with a new BOBST die-cutter. Lines for Bełchatów and Sosnowiec will add fresh-food and paper-bag production.

DS Smith is investing more than EUR 25 million in machinery in Poland to increase its production capacity for corrugated packaging. Most of the 100 million zloty investment goes to one plant.

August Faller, part of Faller Packaging, is installing a Koenig & Bauer Rapida 76 double-coater offset press at its Łódź plant in Poland, due to enter production in spring 2021 and raise carton output to about 1 billion units per year.

Model Group installed new four-colour EVOL flexo folder gluers at its Bilgoraj and Czosnow plants in Poland as part of CHF 86 million invested in modernisation, sustainability and expansion in 2017.
