Nidec Motors & Actuators will increase production capacity at its Niepołomice plant in Krakow's special economic zone, declaring costs of at least PLN 165.21 million. The project adds production of brushless ABS motors and in-house components.

SANHUA AWECO held a grand opening ceremony for a new 1000 square metre production building inside its existing Tychy plant in Poland, to produce expansion valves for European automotive customers. The first production start is planned for May 2019.

Japanese automotive parts maker Yagi completed a PLN 75 million expansion of its Żarów factory, adding a 7,000 sq m hall for wheel hub production.

NGK Insulators will invest about 29.0 billion yen to expand production of GPF and SiC DPF ceramics at NGK Ceramics Polska's Gliwice plant and its No. 2 plant in Dabrowa Gornicza. Capacity is to rise to about three times for GPFs and 30% for SiC DPFs by April 2020.

Valeo Autosystemy received a permit to invest 323 million zloty in expanding and equipping its Skawina plants in the Kraków Special Economic Zone, creating at least 150 jobs.

Eaton Automotive Systems will invest 107 million PLN to expand its Bielsko-Biala factory in Poland, adding 10 new positions to the existing 745 jobs.
