Minerals Development Oman signed a $418.7 million, 10-year mining services contract with China's Hongda International for the Mazoon Copper Project in Oman. The deal includes open-pit mining activities at the Yanqul project, with production set to begin in 2027.

Metso signed an agreement to supply grinding, beneficiation and slurry pump equipment for Jinnan Iron & Steel's greenfield iron ore concentrator in Sohar, Oman, designed for 12.6 million tonnes annually, with operations expected in 2027. The order value was not disclosed.
