Amcor signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately held Moda Systems, a New Zealand manufacturer of automated vacuum protein packaging machines for meat, poultry and dairy. The deal adds equipment and services to Amcor's film portfolio. No value was disclosed.

Pro-Pac Packaging Group agreed to acquire Polypak, an Auckland soft flexible packaging manufacturer and distributor, for NZ$8.8 million. The North Harbour plant employs 28 people.
