PTG Frionordica signed a contract with Artec Aqua to deliver heat pump and heat recovery solutions to smolt producer Sævareid Fiskeanlegg, with delivery planned for late 2026 and start-up in spring 2027.

SCM Frigo, a subsidiary of Beijer Ref, supplied two water-to-water SMART Heat Pumps (SHP) to TTC Norge's factory in Slitu, Norway. The units, commissioned in June 2025, provide space heating and comfort cooling, replacing a fossil-fuel heat generator.

Johnson Controls announced on January 13, 2023 its acquisition of Hybrid Energy AS, a Lysaker, Norway maker of high-temperature industrial heat pumps. Financial terms were not disclosed.
