Nine Dragons Paper expects its 550,000-tonne-per-year packaging paper capacity in Malaysia to start production before the end of Q2 2022. The plan was disclosed on 2020-10-10.

Oji Holdings plans to spend about 35 billion yen ($308 million) to more than double production of corrugated-cardboard materials in Malaysia.

Thong Guan Industries is investing about RM35 million to expand production in Sungai Petani, including a new nano-layered stretch film line starting in September 2017 and more PVC food-wrap lines.
