Tasco Bhd entered into a shareholders' agreement with Yee Lee Corp Bhd to jointly develop a trading, distribution and logistics business through YLTC Sdn Bhd. Tasco will subscribe for 999,998 shares for RM999,998, holding 40% of the joint venture.

UMW Holdings Bhd entered into a Letter of Intent with Komatsu Ltd to establish a joint venture company for the heavy equipment business, with UMW Corp Sdn Bhd holding 74% and Komatsu 26%. The JV aims to boost sales in Malaysia, Singapore, Myanmar and Papua New Guinea.
