Atlas Copco Group completed the acquisition of the compressor business of Penang-based JetCan Engineering Sdn Bhd, which sells and services compressed air equipment in northern Malaysia; 24 employees join the group. The price was not disclosed.

ANDRITZ received its ninth PrimePress X shoe press order from Lee & Man Paper for the PM26 containerboard machine at the Best Eternity Recycle Technology mill in Banting, Malaysia, with start-up planned for end of 2024.

Baker Hughes was awarded a contract by MMHE to supply CO2 compression equipment for PETRONAS Carigali's Kasawari offshore carbon capture and sequestration project in Sarawak, Malaysia, capable of reducing 3.3 million tons of CO2 per year.

Siemens Gas and Power was awarded a contract to supply three SGT-300 gas turbine generators, three mechanical-drive gas turbines and three DATUM centrifugal compressors for the Kasawari gas field development offshore Sarawak, Malaysia. MMHE and TechnipFMC execute the work for end user PETRONAS Carigali.

Malaysian fast-food packaging printer Interpress Printers ordered an EVO XD flexo printing line from KBA-Flexotecnica, a Koenig & Bauer subsidiary, for new premises in Kuala Lumpur. The press is due on stream by end of 2018.

Oji Holdings will install a new containerboard machine with 450,000 tons per year capacity at GS Paperboard & Packaging in Malaysia, investing about JPY 35 billion for the machine and energy and water treatment equipment. Start-up is expected in April 2021.
