Vivax-Metrotech Corporation announced a new manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia, with an investment of RM48 million that will create 175 high-skilled jobs and produce precision technologies for telecom and utilities.

Sensata Technologies held a groundbreaking for a new Green Certified building in Malaysia that adds 40,000 square feet, bringing total manufacturing space to nearly 275,000 square feet. The company plans to invest an additional RM510 million within five years.
