OPW, a Dover Corporation company, acquired MEC and its subsidiary Xanik in July 2024, placing Xanik in OPW Fluid Transfer Solutions' Chemical and Industrial Equipment unit. Xanik, based in Mexico City, has now launched a new logo to reflect its integration.

Atlas Copco signed a deal to acquire the vacuum-related assets and brand of Mexican firm MEISA, which supplies vacuum pumps and services to industrial customers from Queretaro and Monterrey.

Marshall Excelsior Company, a Harbour Group company, acquired Xanor de Mexico (Xanik), a Mexico City maker of specialty severe-service valves. Terms were not disclosed.
