Balluff opened its new greenfield smart factory in Aguascalientes, Mexico, on October 27, 2023. The 7,000 m² site represents a 50 million euro ($53 million) investment to regionalize its supply chain for the Americas.

Balluff is building a new high-volume production plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico, starting at the end of 2023, with about EUR 50 million invested. The 15,000 square metre plant will make sensors, accessories, network systems and RFID solutions.

Festo laid the first stone of a new plant in Salinas Victoria near Monterrey, Mexico, with a $100 million investment and three construction phases generating 1,500 jobs. The plant is due to be ready in 2025 and will supply automation solutions to automotive, mining, pharmaceutical and electronics sectors.

Bosch Rexroth will build a new 42,000 sq m plant in Queretaro, Mexico, investing about 160 million euros to make mobile hydraulics and factory automation components for North America. Opening is planned for mid-2023, with over 900 jobs after full commissioning in 2027.
