Société Marocaine des Manufactures de Mohammedia, controlled by Mediterrania Capital Partners, has notified Morocco's Competition Council of a proposed takeover of Alma Pack and Le Carton. No deal value or completion timetable has been disclosed, and third-party comments are due by 28 September 2026.

Mediterrania Capital Partners signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of SMMM, holding company of Amcor Flexibles Mohammedia, a flexible packaging maker in Mohammedia, Morocco, from Amcor Group.

Grupo Erum and ITC Packaging signed an agreement to create ITCErum Packaging, a joint venture that will make household and food packaging at Erum's factory in Tangier, Morocco. The venture aims to expand internationally and develop sustainable packaging.

ITC Packaging and the Erum Group created a joint venture, ITCErum Packaging, to sell their packaging solutions in Morocco first and expand internationally. The venture combines ITC's thin-walled plastic packaging with Erum's regional distribution network.
