KITZ Corporation's board approved acquiring all shares of V TEX Corporation from Kanadevia Corporation, making V TEX a subsidiary to strengthen its semiconductor vacuum valve business.

KITZ SCT has completed a new plant building at its Nitta SC Plant, expanding production capacity of valves for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The announcement was made April 7, 2023.

Kanto Seiki announced a new building at its Eda factory in Maebashi, Gunma, to raise production capacity and productivity, with about ¥700 million investment and completion planned for August 2023.

Murata Manufacturing will build a new production building at its Wakura Murata Manufacturing site in Nanao, Ishikawa, with construction starting February 2018 and completion targeted January 2019 at about JPY 3.5 billion.

Murata Manufacturing acquired the land and buildings of Sony's former Neagari semiconductor plant in Nomi, Ishikawa, completed October 13, 2017, forming Kanazawa Murata Manufacturing Nomi plant to meet electronic component demand.

EBARA has completed a new manufacturing plant and service facilities in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, with operations starting November 15, 2016. The plant makes semiconductor manufacturing equipment and CMP systems and doubles EBARA's precision product capacity in Kumamoto.
