Amcor invested in a new production line at its Amcor Flexibles site in Lugo di Vicenza, Italy, adding nearly 7,000 square meters for high-barrier recycle-ready films. The expansion includes a quality control lab and an automated warehouse.

Solvay will increase production capacity of its Tecnoflon FKM peroxide curable fluoroelastomer by nearly a third at its Spinetta Marengo plant in Italy, with the extra capacity due by May 2021. The expansion serves demand from automotive, oil and gas, and semiconductor industries.
