UFlex is building an aseptic liquid packaging manufacturing plant that it expects to be commercially operational by April 2017.

Oji Holdings decided to build a heavy-duty corrugated cardboard factory in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, investing 1 billion yen in a first phase at Valam Vadakar Industrial Park, with operations scheduled for December 2018.

Novozymes will invest about DKK 300 million (Rs 300 crore) in a new enzyme production and supply chain facility at Patalganga industrial area near Mumbai. The plant is expected to be operational in 2018 and employ 150 people in the first phase.
