GE Vernova is expanding its existing Stafford manufacturing sites to double HVDC valve manufacturing capacity and upgrade HVDC converter transformer production, and is hiring additional engineers and skilled staff.

Invertek Drives celebrated producing its three millionth variable frequency drive at its headquarters near Welshpool, UK. The company is undergoing a major expansion including a new 2,750sqm facility to boost production capacity.

Invertek is investing in a new 5,000 square metre factory adjacent to its Welshpool HQ, enabling production of over 400,000 variable frequency drives per year. The announcement was reported on 4 January 2017.
