Stora Enso inaugurated Europe's largest consumer packaging board production line at its Oulu mill in Finland on 18 August 2025. The line is part of about EUR 1.7 billion invested in the Oulu mill in 2019-2025.

Stora Enso's new consumer packaging board line at its Oulu site in Finland has begun production ramp-up, converting an idle paper machine into a folding box board and coated unbleached kraft line. The line has an annual capacity of 750,000 tonnes and an investment of EUR 1 billion, with first deliveries expected by Q2 2025.
