Sulzer completed a modernization of its Karhula pump factory in Kotka, adding a highly automated, digitized pump production line and a new logistics centre. The upgrade cuts production throughput time by 93%.

Stora Enso will invest approximately EUR 1 billion during 2022-2025 to convert an idle paper machine at its Oulu site in Finland into a 750,000-tonne consumer board line, with production expected in early 2025.
