Valmet has been selected by Metsä Group to supply a 3D Fiber molded fiber production line for its Äänekoski mill in Finland. Start-up is scheduled for 2028.

BUTTING Anlagenbau received an order for containers and pipeline construction for Stora Enso's O750 Oulu project, which converts a paper machine in Oulu, Finland into a packaging board line producing about 750,000 tonnes per year. Production is expected to start in early 2025.

Valmet will supply a multifuel CYMIC circulating fluidized bed boiler and a flue gas treatment plant to Oulun Energia's new 75 MW biopower plant in Laanila, Oulu, replacing the Toppila unit I. The orders, worth around EUR 70 million, will be included in Valmet's Q1 2018 orders.
