AVK Gulf has secured a USD 20 million contract to supply valves for the transmission line feeding the water treatment plant of Egypt's New Administrative Capital, east of Cairo.

AVK Gulf was awarded a contract worth USD 20 million to supply valves up to DN2200 for water transmission lines serving the New Administrative Capital water treatment plant east of Cairo, Egypt, reported on 31 October 2024.

Fluence's Egyptian joint venture IWSI and Hassan Allam EPC were awarded a $74M EPC contract for a 40,000 m3/day seawater desalination plant in New Mansoura, expandable to 80,000 m3/day. Fluence's share is $20 million.
