DS Smith is investing up to DKK 100 million (about EUR 13.4 million) to upgrade its corrugated packaging facility in Grenaa, Denmark, adding a Göpfert rotary die-cutting line with flexographic printing. The company expects capacity to rise by up to 15 million square metres of corrugated board per year.

Skive-based Hydra-Comp bought a one-third share in Kolding-based Hydropac, a specialist in pump stations, to create synergies and support growth. Both companies will continue as separate entities.
