Stora Enso completed the sale of its Maxau paper production site in Germany and related assets to Schwarz Produktion.

DS Smith decided to close its Berlin plant, which can no longer be operated economically, following an analysis of its site portfolio.

Ball Corporation intends to end production at its Recklinghausen beverage packaging facilities at the end of July 2017, subject to negotiation with the Works Council.
