Schaeffler opened a new plant in Svitavy, Czech Republic, producing thermal management modules for the automotive industry. The investment is about EUR 100 million and is expected to create 900 new jobs within three years.

Greiner Packaging Slušovice s.r.o. awarded a contract worth EUR 935,000 to Kuhne GmbH for extrusion and co-extrusion technology for barrier materials used in-line with its forming technology. The contract was published on 21 October 2017.
