OKAY Industries built a 62,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Evolution Free Zone in Grecia, Costa Rica, to relocate and expand its operations, expected to be completed in summer 2024 and adding over 200 jobs.

ICU Medical announced a US$13.2 million investment at its Heredia, Costa Rica manufacturing facility, including a new infusion pump line and sterilization plant, expected to add 100 jobs.

Edwards Lifesciences opened a new $100 million facility of 274,000 square feet at La Lima Industrial Park in Cartago, Costa Rica, adding 500 jobs by the end of 2020. The building joins an existing plant in the same park to expand production of finished cardiac implantable products.
