Amcor has commenced an expansion at its flexible packaging facility in Dongguan, China, adding a 7,000 sqm manufacturing facility and automated warehouse to expand the campus to over 38,000 sqm, with completion expected by July 2027. The announcement was dated 9 July 2026.

Amcor plans to invest in automation and supply chain operations at its Huizhou plant and to expand its facilities in Foshan and Dongguan, Guangdong province, to fuel growth in China.

Mauser Packaging Solutions added new equipment at its Haiyan, China facility to manufacture UN-certified intermediate bulk containers using recycled plastic. The expansion was announced on 21 January 2025 and no value was given.

Silgan Dispensing announced the expansion of production of its MELODIE fragrance pump to its existing Wuxi facility in China to meet rising demand in the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets. The announcement is dated May 8, 2023.

Lamipak is investing over $400 million to expand its Kunshan, China facility with an R&D centre and automated warehouse, raising site capacity from 12 billion to 39 billion packs per year, with commissioning expected by April 2023.

Anshan Yongan Packaging Industry's second corrugated and containerboard papermaking line, begun in April 2020, went into production on January 28, 2021, bringing the company's papermaking capacity to 300,000 tons per year.

Nine Dragons Paper said it plans to add 1.2 million tonnes of packaging paper capacity at its Hubei base by end-2022, alongside a 600,000-tonne wood pulp expansion in Shenyang. The plans were disclosed with its annual results reported on 2020-10-10.

HCP Group held an official opening ceremony on October 29, 2019, for a newly completed 37,000 m2 factory at its Huai'an location in Jiangsu province. The facility adds injection molding and decoration capacity for cosmetics packaging.
