Lincotek Medical is investing in its Wuxi, Jiangsu manufacturing centre by doubling coating capacity for orthopaedic implants with a second CAPS Intercooler and adding a cleaning and packaging line.

Cochlear Limited announced plans for a new manufacturing facility in Chengdu, Sichuan province, China, for cochlear implants and sound processors, with an estimated investment of AUD 50 million. Production is expected to start within four years, subject to approvals.
