Danfoss inaugurated an automated production line for large electronic expansion valves at its Wuqing plant in Tianjin on April 14, 2026, to serve Asia-Pacific and global customers.

Guangdong Hande Precision Machinery started construction of its Section 2 air compressor project with a total investment of 600 million RMB in Yuanzhou town, Boluo County, as part of a batch of 17 industrial projects.

Danfoss completed a relocation and expansion of its heating and hydronic balancing business at Danfoss (Anshan) Control Valves in Anshan, moving three production lines from Tianjin Wuqing. The project cost nearly 80 million yuan and is designed to reach 300,000 units per year.

Xinchang Youjia Machinery is carrying out a technical upgrade in Xinchang County, Shaoxing, Zhejiang, to produce 30 million valve seats a year for solenoid and expansion valves. Jiaxing Gaxi Bera Compressor plans to build two refrigerator compressor production lines at its existing Wangdian site in Jiaxing, adding 6 million units a year, under a CNY 105.65 million investment. The local environmental authority published its draft environmental approval notice on 18 July 2024.

Embraco, a Nidec Global Appliance brand, began high-volume production of NEX and VEH compressors at its Beijing factory. The company invested US$5.7 million to set up the production line.

Danfoss Turbocor is opening an expanded facility in Haiyan, China, next year. The expansion supports its continued growth of compressor manufacturing.

Changhong Huayi Compressor (Jingzhou) held a commissioning ceremony on July 28, 2023 for phase one of its 10 million unit capacity expansion, including a new automated compressor line. After phase one, annual output reaches 4 million units and total capacity 15 million.

Changhong Huayi's Jingzhou subsidiary began construction on a project adding 10 million small high-efficiency variable-frequency compressors per year, with total investment of 600 million yuan. Phase one is 4 million units with 400 million yuan invested, and the groundbreaking took place on October 28, 2022.

Toyota Industries Electric Air Conditioning Compressor (Kunshan) raised capital by RMB 560 million to build a second phase producing electric air-conditioning compressors for new energy vehicles. The expansion is expected to add 1.2 million units of capacity.

Qingdao Wanbao Compressor Co. put into operation a technical upgrade for producing VK-series small high-efficiency variable-frequency refrigerator compressors in Qingdao West Coast New Area.

Ruizhi (Qingdao) Precision Electromechanical Co. started production of an expansion adding 3 million compressors, bringing total annual capacity to 12 million units. The project is in Qingdao West Coast New Area and adds about 600 million yuan in output value.

Toyota Industries Denso Air Conditioning Compressor (Kunshan) is investing 130 million yuan to expand its Kunshan, Jiangsu plant, adding automotive AC compressor and die-cast aluminum parts capacity, with production expected in July 2019.

Ruizhi (Qingdao) Precision Electromechanical broke ground in Qingdao's West Coast New Area on a project adding 3 million compressors of capacity, with a total investment of RMB 387 million and about 41,000 square metres of new plant. Output is expected to rise from 9.36 million to 12 million units.

Hanon Systems signed an investment agreement with the Dalian municipal government to build a third plant in Dalian for automotive compressors, bringing total site space to over 98,000 square meters.

Emerson broke ground on the second phase of its Copeland scroll compressor factory in Suzhou Industrial Park, China, a $40 million investment to raise capacity for the Chinese and Asian markets.
